This is actually a important book. Bought it on Amazon last week. It is meticulously researched and well written. It uses Obama's books and writings as the base of the material...not emotional fabrications that you typically see. Now...finally, this book makes sense out of who Obama is and where he came from. I only suggest people who care to really figure out who Mr. Obama is give this a read. I wish the book title were not the play on words it is because it leads to the suspicion that this is a rhetoric filled hit piece all too often found in election years. It is not. Whether you agree with the author's own conclusions from the facts presented or not does not matter. What matters is you may finally find out who this guy is. Most of the material comes from Obama himself from his own two books.
If there is one weakness in the book, I would say it is how meticulously the facts were researched and presented. I understand that the subject matter and the near messiah status Obama has with certain groups would cause the author to make sure every stone was unturned to make his case. Even if you continue to support him after the read, at least you will be doing with your eyes more open.
